A Note From Our Executive Director
WELCOME,
Lacrosse Canada recognized the need for an organization rebrand to better reflect the values and identity of the Canadian lacrosse community.
While the pandemic put a hold on many sports across our country, it also provided an opportunity to move forward with our rebrand. Lacrosse Canada’s new identity was developed to better reflect our organization while keeping the sport’s traditional roots at the forefront.
There are exciting opportunities ahead for lacrosse, both nationally and internationally. Lacrosse, Canada’s national summer sport, is returning to the Canada Summer Games in 2022 after a 37-year hiatus.
Internationally, World Lacrosse is pushing for Olympic inclusion and developing a six-on-six game format. As lacrosse continues to grow around the globe, this was an investment in the Canadian lacrosse community’s future as we move ahead with the rest of the world.
We are looking forward to when our lacrosse community can once again fully participate in the sport and attend national championships. When that time comes, the new Lacrosse Canada brand will be ready to inspire further passion for the game of lacrosse.
